The little brother of our Furia Chef knife, Enojito is the perfect utility knife, great for cutting fruit and vegetables into small pieces, and other similar precision work. We often find ourselves reaching for Enojito when preparing simple meals for one or two people. You can count on it to get the job done.

Blade:

The blade is made of 420HC MOV Stainless Steel, which is a popular choice in the knife-making world due to its balance of hardness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention, making it versatile and easy to maintain. The blade has a carbon content of ~0.40% and a Rockwell Hardness (HRC) of ~55.

Handle:

This model features an olive wood handle known for its unique, irregular grain patterns, and its rich coloring, making it one of our favorites. Other available handles include Purple Heart and Guayubira.

Tang: Hidden

Length (Blade/Full Knife): 6.4in / 12in

Thickness: 0.08in

Case: Heavy Duck Canvas

  • We use a 2.0mm 14C28N Sandvik for our small and mid-sized knives (Pampa, Noa, Enojito and Sting). The Rockwell hardness from the last test was 62.
  • We use a 2.5mm 12C27 Sandvik for our heftier blades (Furia, Pez, Pan, and Chiquito). The Rockwell hardness from the last test was 59.
  • All blades are hand-sharpened, but we aim for a sharpening angle of 18 to 19 degrees.
  • Hand-wash only. Dry off after washing.
  • Do not use on surfaces that are harder than the blade itself.
