Tucuman Sky Tapestry
The design of this tapestry is inspired by local landscapes and pictures a rural town in Tucuman at dusk, where the sky turns a beautiful pink color. You have to see it to believe it.
This tapestry was woven in Tucuman, Argentina, on a traditional loom using lambswool that is spun and dyed by hand. This was made by Angela Balderrama who comes from a family of weavers and artisans.

Cornelio Barconti along with the help of his family weaves incredible wool tapestries and area rugs. Cornelio lives in rural Jujuy, Argentina.

Cornelio and co spin the wool into yarn using home-made wheels, dye the yarn using primarily natural pigments, and then weave intricate patterns on artisanal looms. The result is outstanding.
