Tucuman Mountain Tapestry

This tapestry was woven in Tucuman, Argentina, on a traditional loom using lambswool that is spun and dyed by hand. This was made by Angela Balderrama who comes from a family of weavers and artisans.

Due to the size of this tapestry, we do not have wall mounts that fit it. We can recommend alternative hanging and display methods upon request.
Cornelio Barconti along with the help of his family weaves incredible wool tapestries and area rugs. Cornelio lives in rural Jujuy, Argentina.
Cornelio and co spin the wool into yarn using home-made wheels, dye the yarn using primarily natural pigments, and then weave intricate patterns on artisanal looms. The result is outstanding.
