The Wind Runner in Burnt Orange

The design of this runner is inspired "Guari" which means "The Wind" In Quechua. Quecha is the most widely spoken pre-Columbian language spoken in the Americas and can be heard throughout the central Andes Mountains including Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile.

      Our table runners are made in rural Jujuy by artisans who wish to remain anonymous. Mauro Vidte, who we met in Purmamarca, Jujuy, procures the runners from several families living in the countryside.
