The design of this runner is inspired by the Incan Calendar. While the details are unknown, the Incan Calendar was based on movements of both the sun and the moon, included important holidays, and indicated when it was time to plant and harvest crop.

Our table runners are made in rural Jujuy by artisans who wish to remain anonymous. Mauro Vidte, who we met in Purmamarca, Jujuy, procures the runners from several families living in the countryside.
