Los Lupines features a woven interpretation of Lupine flowers set against the Andes Mountains, where they grow wild.  The name derives from Lupus, or wolf, named by shepherds and farmers as the flowers are particularly poisonous for livestock. We don't recommend eating the flowers or the wool pockets.

The pockets are sewn onto a beautiful faded salmon denim weave, which, together with the yellow hue of Las Magnolias, is our first-ever custom dye job.

This is a super limited run, and once they are gone, they are gone.

These pockets are made by Cornelio Barconti and his family in rural Jujuy, Argentina, where the community has relied on their artisanal expertise for their livelihood for generations.

Build Details Include:

  • 13oz 100% cotton denim body
  • 100% hand-woven wool pockets
  • Oversized suede elbow patches
  • Full suede collar

Dry clean only.

The tapestry pockets are woven to measure in Santiago del Estero, Argentina by the Sachamama Community. They ship the pockets to us in Buenos Aires, where Susan's boutique workshop sews them onto a locally made, 13oz 100% cotton raw denim weave. Hear their stories and see our processes below.
