This collection features wooden vases hewn from solid blocks of Algarrobo and Fireland Cherry using the ancient technique of woodturning. All of our turned pieces are made by the Father/Son duo of Matias and Franco Castro. Matias runs a wood-turning school in the Lanus neighborhood of Buenos Aires, and Fran, according to Mati, is his best student!
The wood is treated with mineral oil and beeswax, and is water resistant, but not waterproof. We recommend using them for dried flowers or standalone sculptures.
