The Condor Tapestry
This hand-woven tapestry features The Andean Condor, the largest flying bird in the Western Hemisphere - found in the Andes mountains where this tapestry was made. The Condor is surrounded by the Andean cross motif and other textures that represent the desert highlands.
This tapestry was woven in Jujuy, Argentina, on a traditional loom using lambswool that is spun and dyed by hand. The asymmetries and beauty marks are part of what make this artisanal piece so unique, and in our eyes, so perfect.

I was drawn to this tapestry as it is so unique and vibrant.
I ultimately got it as a gift for a sibling and she absolutely loves it. She already has it proudly displayed in her Brooklyn apartment.
I would absolutely buy another piece like this and the fact that it is one-of-a-kind makes it such a special gift for any recipient.
Beautiful weaving! Nice vibrant colors. Timely shopping. Very happy with this purchase!
