La Chacana Tapestry in Ivory

The design of this tapestry is inspired by The Incan Cross (or Chacana). The cross is steeped in symbolism, and ultimately represents the relationship between the world and the life contained within.

This tapestry was woven in Jujuy, Argentina, on a traditional loom using lambswool that is spun and dyed by hand. The asymmetries and beauty marks are part of what make this artisanal piece so unique, and in our eyes, so perfect.
