Los Picos Tapestry in Ivory and Rosewood
This hand-woven tapestry features designs inspired by the Andean Mountain peaks, and the arid, craggy textures found in the highlands in Northwestern Argentina where the tapestry was woven.
This tapestry was woven in Jujuy, Argentina, on a traditional loom using lambswool that is spun and dyed by hand. The asymmetries and beauty marks are part of what make this artisanal piece so unique, and in our eyes, so perfect.

Cornelio Barconti along with the help of his family weaves incredible wool tapestries and area rugs. Cornelio lives in rural Jujuy, Argentina.
Hand made from start to finish.
Cornelio and co spin the wool into yarn using home-made wheels, dye the yarn using primarily natural pigments, and then weave intricate patterns on artisanal looms. The result is outstanding.
